SAN DIEGO, Calif., September 28, 2015 – Search Optics®, a leading global digital marketing provider with expertise in the automotive industry, today announced the promotion of Eduardo Cortez to president of its Latin America operations as a result of its expansive growth and numerous successes in the region—including the recent acquisition of new customers JAC Motors and Supreme Peugeot, who have already seen improved results after implementing Search Optics’ mobile-first strategy. Previously the General Manager of Search Optics’ Brazil office, Cortez will now be responsible for all the company’s business, including partnerships, acquisitions and customers in the entire Latin America region, overseeing operations from the company’s office in São Paulo. Cortez joined Search Optics in early 2015 to lead the company’s office in Brazil with a focus on international business expansion in South America. Cortez has extensive international business experience, including 10 years of experience serving automotive, aviation and marine OEM’s in complex projects. Prior to Search Optics, Cortez worked for Garmin International where he held served in numerous leadership roles and was responsible for the start-up of the company in Brazil.
